Shirokane1 Shared-Memory Server
The SGI Altix 4700 server is structured by SGI's unique NUMAflex architecture, and is equipped with Intel Itanium2 processors. The system can share all the available memory space, enabling the user to make maximum use of the memory space with no restrictions regarding programming. The system resources are efficiently managed and they can be used to execute complex analyses.
